Sarah Meyohas’ practice operates at the intersection of art, economics, and technology, often exploring systems of value, perception, and digital culture. Working across photography, installation, and conceptual projects, she investigates how images circulate and accrue meaning within contemporary visual economies.
In Blue Speculation (2014), Meyohas constructs a carefully staged photographic composition in which repetition, reflection, and framing create a recursive visual space. The mirrored surfaces and central vanishing point generate a sense of infinite regression, while the juxtaposition of sensual elements—such as fruit and the human body—with artificial, controlled environments introduces a tension between desire and constructed imagery. Through this layered composition, Meyohas reflects on the mechanics of image production and the seductive nature of visual repetition in contemporary culture.
