Hussein Madi (b.1938) was a Lebanese painter, sculptor and printmaker. He studied painting, sculpture and printing in Beirut (at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts) and Rome (at the Accademia di Belle Arti).
Madi is best known for his colourful works that harmonise abstract design with Islamic art.
