Shahrzad Pendar (b. 1987, Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian artist, who has been experimenting with the medium of paint, from oils to acrylics on canvas for over a decade.
As she says of her practice, she is “a woman who creates her work like a mother who raises her child.” Pendar believes in the liberation art can bring, and with the hustle and bustle of modern life, art is everywhere: from painting, to dance, and language. Art can help women to achieve their potential.
