LondonThis work brings together symbolic elements from ancient cultures within a timeless architectural space. At its center stands the Mother Goddess of Amlash—a sacred figure inspired by primordial mother archetypes, embodying luck, blessing, fertility, and rebirth. Select forms associated with the Amlash world reference memory, ritual, and continuity.
The background unfolds through a constellation of meaning-driven signs and symbols: markings inspired by ancient scripts, symbolic numbers such as 11:11 and 7, Om and chakra signs, and archetypal motifs linked to luck, positive energy, and cosmic order. Together, these elements form a universal visual language that invites contemplation beyond cultural and temporal boundaries.
Pantea Mahrou is an Iranian contemporary artist whose practice explores fragmentation, memory, displacement, feminine experience and inherited political histories. Through layered material and spatial processes, her work examines visibility, erasure, silence and concealment, revealing how bodies, domestic spaces and emotional landscapes carry traces of trauma, migration, censorship and political transformation.
