Inside | Outside

The exhibition includes paintings by Zena Assi, winner of the Royal Academy Dupree Woman Artist 2020 award, Cecilia Lamptey-Botchway, whose work was chosen for Ghana’s official 2018 artist delegation to China, Maïa Régis who featured in Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2017 and 2018, Griffin Art Prize 2017, FBA Futures 2018, and the ‘Saatchi Art: Invest in Art Report 2019’ and Freya Douglas-Morris selected for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries, The New Sensations & The Catlin Guide.

Inside | Outside includes works in oil, acrylic, watercolour, mixed media and chalk. This diversity of media and colour highlights on one level, the multiplicity of the present moment and the dichotomy we are facing in our lives between spending much of our time inside and the longing for the outside. A second conception reveals the power of women in the world today, resonating in each of the works. Inside | Outside demonstrates visibility and warmth, set against transparency and impermanence.
