Elizaveta Filips (b.1997, Rostov-on-Don, Russia) an emerging artist, of Ukrainian heritage, Filips is now based in Paris, France. Her loose, expressive drawing is the basis for large-scale abstract works on canvas that explore emotion and colour. Filips creates a dynamic sense of chaos and depth through the layering of pastel, charcoal and paint, creating an intimacy with the viewer.
