The proposed works deal with the built environment in several ways. Espejismo reciente depicts spaces that do not exist in the physical reality outside the paintings. It includes, however, a few elements that resemble architectural items: arches, columns, ceilings and a reflecting pool. It is not clear whether we are seeing an exterior or interior view. The space seems to create volume but at the same time the visual logic is fragmented.
