Nazi Azimi (b. 1977 Tehran, Iran) studied painting at Tehran’s Beaux-Arts and Tehran University.
Azimi’s practice is deeply involved in the meaning of colour, especially black. As she says “Your interpretation of the color black might be a dress or a dark room or a pit, but for me it means constant movement, release and infinity.”
