Full of (Still) Life 2 – Paul Kupelian Solo Show
Janet Rady Fine Art is pleased to present Full of (Still) Life 2, the second solo exhibition by Paul Kupelian with the gallery.
Following his first presentation, Full of (Still) Life, this new online exhibition brings together a recent selection of paintings from 2025 and 2026, continuing Kupelian’s exploration of interiors, gardens, balconies and domestic spaces.
A self-taught Lebanese-French artist of Armenian descent, Kupelian is known for his bold use of colour, playful compositions and distinctive figurative style. His works transform everyday settings into intimate scenes shaped by memory, warmth and lived experience.
In paintings such as Pomegranate & Oranges, My Garden, Memories, I’m full and Open the door, familiar objects — chairs, tables, plants, rugs, windows and bowls of fruit — become quiet markers of presence. Interior and exterior spaces often meet, suggesting a world where domestic life opens onto gardens, views and remembered places.
The title Full of (Still) Life 2 reflects Kupelian’s continued interest in the still life tradition, while also moving beyond it. His paintings are calm but never static: they are animated by pattern, colour and detail, revealing the vitality contained within ordinary spaces.
Through this new selection, Kupelian invites the viewer into a personal yet universal world, where the everyday becomes vivid, tender and full of life.
Full of (Still) Life 2 will be on view online from 1 July to 28 August 2026 on Artsy, Artnet and the gallery’s website.
