Shadi Abousada (b.1983 Sweida City, Syria) enjoys working in a variety of media, exploring the qualities and challenges of paint, installations and video/digital works. He imbues everyday scenes with intimacy, symbolism and a wry sense of humour using colour to further create an arresting composition engaging the curiosity and attention of the viewer.
