BAAB fosters excellence in the visual arts through exhibitions and educational programmes that serve as catalysts for the future of Bahrain and for Arab Art. Our mission is to promote cross-cultural dialogue and enable artists to better understand the time in which they live professionally. Through a series of annual exhibitions and events to be held in a different international city each year, it will also serve to introduce art collectors and enthusiasts across the world to the talents and vision of Bahrain’s artists.


Exhibition in association with Art Select with the support of Tamkeen of 17 Bahraini Artists selected for BAAB (Bahraini Art Across Borders): Somaya Abdulghani, Hamed Al-Bosta, Ebrahim Busaad, Balqees Fakhro, Mariam Fakhro, Taiba Faraj, Faika Al Hassan, Nabeela Al Khayer, Ghada Khunji, Ghassan Muhsin, Jamal Abdul Rahim, Omar Al Rashid, Mayasa Al Sowaidi.  Artists to watch: Amina Al Abbasi, Lulwa Al-Khalifa, Marwa Al Khalifa, Noof Ahmed Alrefaei.
